Plan Your Own Event.
Lots of people get involved and have fun fundraising for Neurocare click here for a list of ideas or better
still create your own original idea!! Set your goals - be realistic!
- Contact the team at Neurocare appeals@neurocare.org.uk or call us for some
advice! We can help with ideas and support.
- Allow yourself plenty of time of time to plan and prepare. We would suggest 3 months depending on the event.
- Enlist some help from friends, colleagues or family. Set up a small committee of people and appoint a chairperson.
- Work out a time line and set dates and deadlines
- Keep an eye on how much you spend to how much you make
- Try to aim for at least a 3:1 ratio (three parts income to one part expense)
- Keep expenditure down by getting things donated or sponsored
- Increase your income - raffles, auctions, stand up sit down bingo (charge a realistic amount depending
on the quality of prizes)
- Always have two or more people to count the money at your event.
- Ensure you get the name and address of all individual donations so Neurocare can claim gift aid.
- Please remember to photocopy the thank you letter we send you and then forward that to everyone
who has helped you so they can see what you have raised.
