Carols the Best in Sheffield!!
Carol expalins why!
In 1995, I was diagnosed with a 7cm brain tumour after having severe migraine headaches for over 6 months. As a result of my operation I became an epileptic, one of the side effects that can arise as a result of Brain Surgery.
Understandably, Neurocare is a charity close to my heart, it was the surgeons at The Hallamshire Hospital that successfully operated on me.
Neorocare not only raise money for essential equipment for brain surgery but they also raise funds to help treat epilepsy which to me are both essential and very worthwhile causes.
Owning The Best of Sheffield.co.uk has helped me raise the profile of ‘Neurocare’ in Sheffield; by promoting worthwhile businesses and charities on our community website, we gain them more recognition and prestige.
I will donate £25 to Neurocare for each business that signs up to The Best of Sheffield if they have been recommended to us by a nominator who mentions ‘Neurocare’ when they contact us.
