Sheffield United show their support for Neurocare
Sheffield United donated the money they received from the Sheffield Derby beam back.
Sheffield United very kindly donated £1,000 to Neurocare from the Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday beam back.
Neurocare fundraising Director, Lesley Eland, went along to the ground on 1st March 2009, to collect the donation and had the opportunity to meet some of United’s past and present players too.
The club also allowed Neurocare to do a bucket collection on the day and with 16 willing volunteers an additional £358.80 was raised from generous supporters.
The cherry on the cake for the day was United’s 2-1 win over Birmingham City.
