Nick Wolstenholme goes to jail - all for Neurocare
Neurocare patron, Nick Wolstenholme spent a day in Doncaster jail to raise money for Neurocare.
Doncaster prison held its annual ‘Jail & Bail' charity event on 10th December 2008. The prison opened their doors and invited charities to send a fundraiser in for the day and and askred them to raise their bail money before they could be released into the community again!.
Nick Wolstenholme volunteered to go in on behalf of Neurocare and saw for himself what it's like to do 'time'! He was given a taste of the whole prisoner experience, from travelling to the jail in a prison van, being searched and having his fingerprints taken on arrival. He then had to do prison trachsuit before sampling a typical lunchtime menu - this consisted of jailbreak gammon and chips followed by handcuff gateau, alleaten using platic kives and forks of course. The day ended after a stretch in a cell and a few frantic phone calls to friends to help get him out again!
Thank you Nick for raising so much money for Neurocare.
