Developing Working Relationships
Back in November 2009 we were lucky enough to meet a very inspirational man - Michael Roby, Director of Developing Impact. Developing Impact is a leading development organisation that specialises in designing and delivering world-class learning experiences to impact on companies’ operational performance.
Michael very kindly offer to develop a training day for Neurocare and set us on an even more successful path in 2010.
Here’s what Michael had to say about Neurocare and our training day:
“Neurocare is a Charity who saves and change people’s lives. The people who support this charity also help save and change lives and so we decided to get involved.
When we first met Lesley Eland and the team it was clear to see they are very passionate about the work they do. We wanted to design and deliver a world class learning experience to get them off to a great start in 2010.
We sat down with Lesley and the team to discuss their desired results then set about designing something special that would achieve and exceed their expectations.
The day was designed to be highly participative while hitting on all the multiple intelligences. It proved a great success with knowledge retention measuring over 90% but the learning didn’t stop there. We have set measures in place to ensure the learning is taken from the programme and implemented into the working environment.
Fantastic ladies and a great charity. I can honestly say I have never had so much fun; it was a real pleasure working with you.”
Lesley Eland, Neurocare Chief Executive said:
“Wow – what a great day!! This training really opened our eyes to our strengths. We left with a head full of new ideas, thought and activities to “put into action”. I tried one of the techniques on a friend that very evening and discovered it worked!!! My colleague is a brand new woman as she seems to have overcome a confidence issue she had over night!! Thank you so much Michael ….when’s the next one?”
