29 Brave souls took to the hot coals to raise money for Neurocare! All participants walked 20 feet across the burning coals and wood after being given a motivational speech by the Firewalking Company's trainer Vaughan!
Everyone successfully made it accross without so much as a blister! Well done to everyone who took part!

Susanne Schneider took part in the Clumber park 10k raising money for Neurocare as a thank you to the Neuro department at the Hallamshire for taking good care of both her and her mum. Well done Susanne! Susanne seen here with her lovely mum.

Tracey Howe raised £450 for Neurocare when she took to the streets of Worsksop in the 1/2 Marathon earlier this year wit hfriends from the Crystal Peaks Runners.
Tracey decided to raise money for Neurocare when her friend, the Crystal Peaks Runners coach Bridgette was suddenly struck wit illness and had to spend a few weeks on N1 and N2, the Neuro wards at the Sheffield Hallamshire that Neurocare support.
A huge thank you to Tracey, Bridgette and George who brought the £450 to Neurocare!!

Neurocare's Fundraiser Emma and her friend and running buddy Sarah Whitaker took on the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run!! Emma has decided that her body is not built for 10k runs so she's doing the Firewalk instead!!

A big Thank you to the Penistone Reds Supporters Club who raised over £800 for Neurocare at their race night in the summer - everyone looks like they're having a great time! And Barnsley's Rob Kozluk helps draw the winning ticket for a signed Barnsley FC shirt at the Penistone Reds Supporters Club Draw!

We have been very lucky so far this year to have lots of people take part in marathons, half marathons and fun runs for Neurocare.
From our local one here in Sheffield to Belfast, Prague, Geneva, Barcelona and on and on.

Leon Jackson winner of the TV show X Factor got the crowds bopping on the dance floor at the Neurocare Christmas Party in December 2008.
Leon was delighted to be able to support Neurocare. He said: “I know all the staff at Neurocare work extremely hard to help those with neurological illness. I’m thankful to be here and it’s an absolute pleasure to perform on a night like this.’
Fundraising Director, Lesley Eland, said ‘We were so excited when Leon agreed to be our special guest. We all had an amazing night’
300 guests attended the party and the whole Neurocare team are delighted that it was such a success.

On a very cold morning in November at Helsey Woods, 7 extremely brave souls decided to take part in the very muddiest experiences possible to raise money for Neurocare.
Thank so much to the teams from Blundells, Westbourne School and Jeremy Brooke from Simpson, Sissons and Brooke LLP - you were all wonderful.
And well done to Blundells Badgers for 2nd place in the mixed teams race.

Robbie Bennett and Dave Richards organised this fabulous Golf day to celebrate the life of Richard Bennett. It was a Pro Am with a shot gun start. Barber Harrison and Platt and Gilders Audi were main sponsors and Pro golfers came from far and wide to show their support including Alison Nicolas.
We raised just under £10,000. A huge thank you to Robbie and supporters.

By the end of June the Search for a Star Heats were over and we had our 10 acts for the Gala Dinner Final held at Sheffield United Platinum Suite. tdc (thanks Eamonn!)again came and provided the staging, lighting and along with Galaxy Radio provided the sound too. The scene was set for a wonderful night.

This is the 6th Annual Clay shoot at Yeavely organised by Rex Caplan, Nick Wolstenholme, Nick Buchanan and Will Harrison. These fabulous Gentleman raised over £103,000. The amount will be shared between 5 Charities. Neurocare is one of those Charities. A huge huge thank you to the organising committee from all at Neurocare for the amazing job they do!!
